Information We Collect

Mercedonius does not require registration. We do not collect personal data through normal use. Standard server logs may record IP address and browser type for security purposes. These are never sold or shared.

Cookies and Local Storage

We use your browser's localStorage to cache news feed data for up to five minutes. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. No tracking cookies are used.

Third-Party Services

We use a same-origin feed proxy to retrieve RSS feeds reliably, and may fall back to allorigins.win or api.codetabs.com when an upstream source blocks browser requests. We also use Google Fonts for typography. Each third-party service has its own privacy policy.

Content Ownership

All news content remains the property of the original publishers. We display only headlines and excerpts from public RSS feeds. Clicking any headline redirects to the original source.
